All of our fabric and wallpaper is printed just for you, one order at a time. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting, and nothing is mass-produced.
Start with a sample. Tape the wallpaper to the wall, drape the fabric over the chair it's meant for, and see how the color and texture look in morning and evening light. Most decisions settle themselves within a few days.
Once your order arrives, we want you to love it. If you don't, for any reason, let us know. This applies to all retail orders. You have 60 days from delivery to reach out, and we'll reprint your items or you can return them for a refund. Your choice.
To start, email connect@vintagebotanica.com with your order number and a quick note about why you'd like a reprint or return. If something arrived damaged or misprinted, please include photos.
Hung wallpaper and cut fabric are still eligible, as long as the product comes back to us. Every reprint or refund requires the original product to be returned. Return shipping is yours to cover unless the product is defective, in which case we cover it.
Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 business days after we receive your return. They cover the purchased items plus tax. If the product is defective, we also refund your original shipping.
We currently ship within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories. We ship to APO and FPO addresses and to PO boxes where the carrier allows it.
- Standard shipping is $9.99 per order for fabric and wallpaper
- Production takes 5 to 10 business days

Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and military addresses may take longer than the estimate above.
You’ll get tracking by email as soon as your order ships. Orders with multiple items may arrive in more than one package as different products are printed in different locations.
Weather, holidays, and carrier delays happen. If your order is running past the estimate, get in touch and we’ll look into it.
Lost or missing packages
If tracking shows delivered but your package isn’t there, check around your delivery spot and with neighbors first. Packages often turn up within a day. If it’s still missing, email us and we’ll open a claim with the carrier. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we’ll reprint your order or refund it.

Vertical sprays of small leaves fill the ground, threaded with chains of berries. Translated from a wallpaper designed by Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann and printed in Paris in 1918, now in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Available as wallpaper and fabric by the yard.
Deep forest green leaves on a fog grey ground, with marigold yellow berries. The leaves cover close to half the surface, so the cloth reads as dark green foliage with small points of yellow running through it. Up close, a highlight along each leaf edge and a soft halo around the berries give the print its depth.

- Source: Wallpaper designed by Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann (1879–1933) and made by Desfossé & Karth, Paris, cylinder-printed in two colours on a brushed white ground. Photographed at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
- Collection: Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, 2002.78.1.
- Origin: Paris, France.
- Date: 1918.
- Repeat: 24 in × 26.9 in. Straight match.
- Motif scale: Leaves are about 1 in long and berries about 0.4 in across. The largest berry cluster is 6.5 in wide.
- Layout: Vertical sprays of leaves fill the repeat. Berry chains run in two columns 12 in apart, the clusters in one column stepped from those in the next. Adjacent lengths hang level.
- Values: Flat colours for leaf, ground and berry, with a lighter centre in each berry, plus printed tone: a lighter tint on some leaves, a highlight along leaf edges, a shadow beside the leaves and a soft halo around the berries.
- Edge: Clean. Leaves meet the ground at hard edges; the highlights and the berry halo are soft.
The Wallpaper
Peel and Stick
A self-adhesive paper with a linen-like texture. The texture shows through the print and gives the color a quiet movement, most noticeable across a full wall. It goes up without paste and comes down more easily when the room is ready for something new.
- Install: Peel and stick, no paste
- Walls: Smooth, clean, fully cured paint
- For: Rentals and rooms where paste-free installation or easier removal matters
Clay-Coated
A traditional unpasted paper with a smooth, soft matte finish. Color sits cleanly on the clay surface, so the finest lines of the pattern stay sharp. It gives a room the familiar finish of traditionally hung wallpaper.
- Install: Unpasted; paste is applied to the back of each panel before hanging
- For: Traditional installations, including full rooms and powder rooms away from direct water
Start with a sample. Tape it to the wall and live with it for a few days, in morning light and again in the evening. Watch how the color and surface settle into the room, then choose the paper you'll live with.
