Pencil Stripe, Linen / Cinnamon Fabric by the Yard
All of our fabric and wallpaper is printed just for you, one order at a time. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting, and nothing is mass-produced.
Start with a sample. Tape the wallpaper to the wall, drape the fabric over the chair it's meant for, and see how the color and texture look in morning and evening light. Most decisions settle themselves within a few days.
Once your order arrives, we want you to love it. If you don't, for any reason, let us know. This applies to all retail orders. You have 60 days from delivery to reach out, and we'll reprint your items or you can return them for a refund. Your choice.
To start, email connect@vintagebotanica.com with your order number and a quick note about why you'd like a reprint or return. If something arrived damaged or misprinted, please include photos.
Hung wallpaper and cut fabric are still eligible, as long as the product comes back to us. Every reprint or refund requires the original product to be returned. Return shipping is yours to cover unless the product is defective, in which case we cover it.
Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 business days after we receive your return. They cover the purchased items plus tax. If the product is defective, we also refund your original shipping.
We currently ship within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories. We ship to APO and FPO addresses and to PO boxes where the carrier allows it.

Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and military addresses may take longer than the estimate above.
You'll get tracking by email as soon as your order ships. Orders with multiple items may arrive in more than one package as different products are printed in different locations.
Weather, holidays, and carrier delays happen. If your order is running past the estimate, get in touch and we'll look into it.
Lost or missing packages
If tracking shows delivered but your package isn’t there, check around your delivery spot and with neighbors first. Packages often turn up within a day. If it’s still missing, email us and we’ll open a claim with the carrier. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we’ll reprint your order or refund it.

Narrow stripes on a plain ground, printed with the texture of the woven original. Translated from a striped linen and silk fragment at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Available as wallpaper and fabric by the yard.
Cinnamon pencil stripes on a pale linen ground. The warm red-brown is clear against the pale ground without being stark. Up close the woven texture shows, with flecks of linen breaking through the stripe.

- Date: 13th century, as catalogued by Cooper Hewitt.
- Repeat: 6 in × 6.2 in. Straight match.
- Motif scale: Each stripe is about 0.3 in wide, spaced about 1.5 in apart, four stripes to the repeat.
- Layout: Vertical stripes run the full height on a plain ground, very slightly uneven in spacing, as in a woven cloth. Adjacent lengths hang level.
- Values: Two colours, ground and stripe, both printed with a woven texture; flecks of the ground colour show through the stripe.
- Edge: Clean, with a slightly serrated outline where individual threads end. The blue and brown bands of the original are reduced to one repeating stripe and recoloured.

Decor Chenille
A short, dense pile with a velvet-like surface on a firm woven ground. Fine striations catch the light as it moves across the room, deepening the color. Substantial weight keeps a clean line on upholstery and gives tailored drapery a decisive fall.

Cotton Linen
A fine, even linen-cotton weave. Color prints cleanly while the woven surface remains visible, keeping solid grounds from going flat without softening fine linework. Light in the hand, it falls in narrow, supple folds and filters light rather than blocking it.
